Hello football fans! We are officially talking about playoffs!

First, let’s see how the NFL wrapped up their 2016 campaign. I went 10-6 for Week 17, finishing the season at 157-99. Here’s a recap of what I got right and wrong:

Sun Jan 1 1:00 pm  Baltimore Ravens  Cincinnati Bengals X
1:00 pm  Buffalo Bills  New York Jets X
1:00 pm  Carolina Panthers  Tampa Bay Buccaneers
1:00 pm  Chicago Bears  Minnesota Vikings (s.o.)
1:00 pm  Cleveland Browns  Pittsburgh Steelers
1:00 pm  Dallas Cowboys  Philadelphia Eagles X
1:00 pm  Green Bay Packers  Detroit Lions
1:00 pm  Houston Texans  Tennessee Titans X
1:00 pm  Jacksonville Jaguars  Indianapolis Colts X
1:00 pm  New England Patriots  Miami Dolphins X
1:00 pm  New Orleans Saints  Atlanta Falcons
1:00 pm  New York Giants  Washington Redskins
4:25 pm  Arizona Cardinals  Los Angeles Rams
4:25 pm  Kansas City Chiefs  San Diego Chargers
4:25 pm  Oakland Raiders  Denver Broncos
4:25 pm  Seattle Seahawks  San Francisco 49ers

Now let’s get into the Wild Card Round! In the AFC, we’re having Oakland’s Connor Cook make his first ever career start against Houston, where Brock Osweiler will take the reigns under center once more. Ryan Tannehill of the Dolphins might not start against Pittsburgh, meaning Matt Moore will likely get the go-ahead.

The NFC features two intriguing matchups. The banged-up Seattle Seahawks will face the Detroit Lions in a tough bout. Perhaps the most anticipated game will be the New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers. Will the Giants gain revenge for their Week 5 loss against the Packers? Will it be a case of déjà vu all over again?

Regardless, here are my picks for the Wild Card Playoff Round!
AFC Wild Card

(5) Oakland Raiders at (4) Houston Texans

(6) Miami Dolphins at (3) Pittsburgh Steelers

NFC Wild Card

(6) Detroit Lions at (3) Seattle Seahawks

(5) New York Giants at (4) Green Bay Packers

Check your local listings for when each playoff game airs. Good luck to all teams and those who are also making picks as well.
