NFL 2016 Week 11 Picks

Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott have delivered plenty of smiles on the Dallas Cowboys’ faces this season. Photo Credit: Keith Allison,

Hello football fans! Welcome to Week 11 of the NFL season!

We’ve had many exciting games, and none could have ever predicted a shakeup quite like this.

The Dallas Cowboys are the best team in the NFL right now. They capitalized on the Pittsburgh Steelers’ shoddy defense and failure to make two-pointers for a 35-30 win. Running back Ezekiel Elliott might even shatter Eric Dickerson’s all-time rushing yards record for a rookie.

How can the Cowboys rule the NFL at the moment? Are we forgetting about the New England Patriots?

No, but they did lose to the Seattle Seahawks 31-24. Seattle got the job done in New England, and they solidified themselves as a credible threat for the Lombardi Trophy once again.

Back in Dallas, Tony Romo held a press conference acknowledging his status. He returns this week as second string to Dak Prescott. However, the Cowboys haven’t confirmed Prescott will be their starting quarterback for the rest of the season. What’s up with that?

It’s now time for the picks! I went 6-8 for Week 10, bringing my total to 85-62 for this year. In the vent of a tied game, ties count as losses when you make picks. It’s simple: if your team doesn’t win, you still get the big L. Here’s a recap of what I got right and wrong:

Thu Nov 10 8:25 pm  Cleveland Browns  Baltimore Ravens
Sun Nov 13 1:00 pm  Atlanta Falcons  Philadelphia Eagles X
1:00 pm  Chicago Bears  Tampa Bay Buccaneers
1:00 pm  Denver Broncos  New Orleans Saints
1:00 pm  Green Bay Packers  Tennessee Titans X
1:00 pm  Houston Texans  Jacksonville Jaguars X
1:00 pm  Kansas City Chiefs  Carolina Panthers
1:00 pm  Los Angeles Rams  New York Jets X
1:00 pm  Minnesota Vikings  Washington Redskins X
4:05 pm  Miami Dolphins  San Diego Chargers (s.o.) X
4:25 pm  Dallas Cowboys  Pittsburgh Steelers X
4:25 pm  San Francisco 49ers  Arizona Cardinals
8:30 pm  Seattle Seahawks  New England Patriots X
Mon Nov 14 8:30 pm  Cincinnati Bengals  New York Giants

Here are my picks for this week. Taking a bye for this week will be the Falcons, Broncos, Chargers and the Jets. Remember, the s.o. stands for the shutout pick:

Thu Nov 17 8:25 pm  New Orleans Saints  Carolina Panthers
Sun Nov 20 1:00 pm  Arizona Cardinals  Minnesota Vikings
1:00 pm  Baltimore Ravens  Dallas Cowboys
1:00 pm  Buffalo Bills  Cincinnati Bengals
1:00 pm  Chicago Bears  New York Giants
1:00 pm  Jacksonville Jaguars  Detroit Lions
1:00 pm  Pittsburgh Steelers  Cleveland Browns
1:00 pm  Tampa Bay Buccaneers  Kansas City Chiefs
1:00 pm  Tennessee Titans  Indianapolis Colts
4:05 pm  Miami Dolphins  Los Angeles Rams
4:25 pm  New England Patriots  San Francisco 49ers (s.o.)
4:25 pm  Philadelphia Eagles  Seattle Seahawks
8:30 pm  Green Bay Packers  Washington Redskins
Mon Nov 21 8:30 pm  Houston Texans  Oakland Raiders

Keep in mind all times and games are subject to change. Good luck to all teams and those who are also making picks as well.
