Hello football fans! Welcome to the NFL postseason!

The Wild Card round is about to begin. This Saturday marks the beginning of the culmination of this NFL season. Eight teams will vie to stay alive in the Lombardi Trophy Hunt.

The AFC games feature the Cincinnati Bengals hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Kansas City Chiefs visiting the Houston Texans. The Denver Broncos and New England Patriots await the winners for next week.

The NFC games feature the Seattle Seahawks visiting the Minnesota Vikings and the Washington Redskins hosting the Green Bay Packers. The Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals will take a break and wait for their next opponents.

Now, let’s talk picks. I finished the season 9-7 in the picks for Week 16, bringing my total to 156-100. See what I got wrong below.

WEEK 17

New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons, 1 p.m., FOX x

New York Jets at Buffalo Bills, 1 p.m., CBS x

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers, 1 p.m., FOX

Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears, 1 p.m., FOX x

Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals, 1 p.m., CBS (s.o.)

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns, 1 p.m., CBS

Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys, 1 p.m., FOX

Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans, 1 p.m., CBS

Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts, 1 p.m., CBS

Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs, 1 p.m., CBS

New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins, 1 p.m., CBS x

Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants, 1 p.m., FOX x

Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals, 4:25 p.m., FOX x

San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos, 4:25 p.m., CBS

St. Louis Rams at San Francisco 49ers, 4:25 p.m., FOX

Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers, 8:30 p.m., NBC x

Here are my picks for the Wild Card round.

NFC

Green Bay Packers at Washington Redskins: the surging Redskins at home against the struggling Packers should be a slam-dunk for Washington. However, the Pack has the experience. Expect the Packers to surge once again.

Prediction: Packers

Seattle Seahawks at Minnesota Vikings: the Vikings have the home field, but the Seahawks have the experience and are playing exceptionally well. Expect the defending NFC Champions to have one more game in them.

Prediction: Seahawks

AFC
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals: the Steelers got lucky they made this spot. The Bengals need their luck to change to stop Pittsburgh. Expect a hard-fought battle between these two AFC North rivals.

Prediction: Steelers

Kansas City Chiefs at Houston Texans: the Texans are the underdogs in this battle with Kansas City. Despite their winning streak, the Chiefs have plenty to prove. Expect Houston to do their best but just falling short.

Prediction: Chiefs

Good luck to all eight teams in their journey to Super Bowl 50. If you disagree with my picks, share below and say why your team will win.
