NFL 2015 Week 16 Picks

Hello everyone! Welcome to Week 16 of the 2015 NFL season.

We’re down to the nitty-gritty for football. Playoff spots are being filled, and huge implications can happen during this week.

The AFC is filled with too many. Kansas City can either get a wild card spot or taker the AFC West. Denver needs to hold on to their AFC West lead; otherwise, they could be on the outside looking in.

Waiting in the wings are the Steelers and the Jets, who both look to take a Wild Card spot. Meanwhile, drama unfolds for the bye weeks. Denver, Cincinnati and New England can get a bye week for the playoffs. This week could determine which team goes where for the NFL Postseason.

Meanwhile, the NFC was sidetracked with an issue that went too far.

Giants WR Odell Beckham, Jr. was suspended one game for his actions on Panthers CB Josh Norman. Norman was also fined for his actions against Beckham.

Clearly, this went way too far. Both men stepped over the line, but it should’ve been the referees stepping in. Isn’t that their job to keep law and order on the gridiron? That never would have happened anywhere else and yet, the refs just let it happen.

We should be talking about how the Panthers came back thanks to a game-winning drive by Cam Newton, which led to Graham Gano’s field goal. Instead, we’re explaining a feud gone too far.

Having passion for the game is one thing, but recklessness is another. Hopefully Beckham and Norman can learn from this experience, for both their sakes. Otherwise, this could be the beginning of an ugly tale of the tape.

Now, let’s talk picks. I went 11-5 in the picks for Week 15, bringing my total to 149-85. See what I got wrong below.
