Hello everyone!

After all the scandals off the field, it’s time to welcome football players back on it. The gridiron is open for business as the NFL starts its 2015 campaign.

This week opens with the New England Patriots taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Christmas came early for the defending Super Bowl Champions, as Tom Brady will be in action for the first game.

We also will have division rivals squaring off in this first week. Sunday Night Football will feature the New York Giants against the Dallas Cowboys in a showdown for the NFC East. The Green Bay Packers visit their NFC North rival Chicago Bears for a less than cordial encounter.

An interesting game to watch will be the Tennessee Titans versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Marcus Mariota faces Jameis Winston as the top two draft picks square off in their NFL debuts. Let’s see if any signs of greatness emerge from these two. Just remember, it’s only the first game of the season.

Here are my picks for Week 1. All picks have the correct dates and channels. The s.o. stands for the shutout pick.
