The playoffs are upon us!

The 2014 NFL season has ended. We have our favorites and underdogs who will clash it out for the Lombardi Trophy. The road to Glendale begins now.

First, let’s go over the picks standings. I went 11-5 last week, bringing my total to 166-89. This is how I did

CAROLINA PANTHERS AT ATLANTA FALCONS — 1:00 p.m. X

CLEVELAND BROWNS AT BALTIMORE RAVENS — 1:00 p.m. s.o.

ST. LOUIS RAMS AT SEATTLE SEAHAWKS — 4:25 p.m.

CINCINNATI BENGALS AT PITTSBURGH STEELERS – 8:25 p.m.

Let’s talk about playoffs!

The AFC will start with an AFC North showdown between the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The next day will feature the Cincinnati Bengals taking on the Indianapolis Colts. New England and Denver will rest since they hold the Nos. 1 and 2 seeds, respectively.

The NFC will begin with the Arizona Cardinals taking on the Carolina Panthers. Following that the next day will be the Detroit Lions against the Dallas Cowboys. The Seattle Seahawks (No. 1) and Green Bay Packers (No. 2) will take their breaks this week.

Here are my picks for this week. Remember, the s.o. initials stand for my shutout pick.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 3

ARIZONA CARDINALS AT CAROLINA PANTHERS – 4:35 p.m. (s.o.)

BALTIMORE RAVENS AT PITTSBURGH STEELERS – 8:15 p.m.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 4

CINCINNATI BENGALS AT INDIANAPOLIS COLTS 1:05 p.m.

DETROIT LIONS AT DALLAS COWBOYS 4:40 p.m.

Good luck to all teams this year. If you’re making picks this year, good luck to as well. Also to check local listings, as times are subject to change.
