December 11, 2014

Hello football fans! Welcome to Week 15 of the NFL Season.

We start with one streak ending and another continuing in a tale of two quarterbacks. Both could even face each other in the upcoming Super Bowl.

The AFC West featured the Denver Broncos defeating the Buffalo Bills 24-17. The scoreboard tells fans it’s business as usual. However, Peyton Manning didn’t record a touchdown during the game. It was the running tandem of C.J. Anderson and Juwan Thompson that helped Denver survive Buffalo. Manning had his streak of 51 consecutive games with a touchdown snapped. However, a victory’s a victory.

The NFC North featured another display of the Aaron Rodgers show. The starting of quarterback of Green Bay continued his MVP candidacy over the Atlanta Falcons 43-37. He also is on an impressive streak of his own at home. Rodgers has not thrown an interception at home since December 2, 2012. According to ESPN, he’s thrown 360 consecutive passes at home without being picked off. Good luck to opposing teams facing Rodgers at Lambeau Field.

Good luck to all teams this year. If you’re making picks this year, good luck to as well. Also to check local listings, as times are subject to change.

Let’s also wish Cam Newton to get well after his car accident on Wednesday. The Panthers QB suffered two transverse process fractures in his lower back after colliding with another car. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department spokesperson Rob Tufano told the press the accident occurred on S. Church St. at 12:30 p.m. EST. Charges won’t be filed against either side. Get well soon, Cam.
