Hello football fans! Welcome to Week 2 of the NFL season.

The NFL started with a bang in Week 1 with a dominating performance from the Seattle Seahawks. The defending Super Bowl Champions defeated the Green Bay Packers 36-16 to open their 2014 campaign. It was September 7, however, that revealed not everything is business as usual.

Who would’ve thought the New England Patriots would start the season last in their division (yes, it’s only been one week)? The Pats lost to the Miami Dolphins 33-20. The Buffalo Bills outplayed the Chicago Bears 23-20 in overtime. The New York Jets defeated the Oakland Raiders 19-14, leaving those three teams tied for first in the AFC East.

The big story from the NFC other than the defending champs is the Dallas Cowboys. Nearly fifty percent of their stadium was filled with 49ers fans. It didn’t help when Tony Romo reminded everyone of his antics. The 49ers dominated the Cowboys 28-17.

Sunday Night and Monday Night Football returned as well. The Broncos survived an Andrew Luck comeback 31-24 on Sunday night. Monday night featured two games, with the Detroit Lions destroying the New York Giants 35–14 and the Arizona Cardinals on top of the San Diego Chargers 18-17.
