Playoff Season

It’s playoff season for both basketball and hockey. Both sports will have their playoff games around the same time. The NHL started their playoff season yesterday. Here’s a listing of the teams that are vying for the Stanley Cup:

Eastern Conference

Series A: #1 Washington Capitals vs. #8 New York Rangers

Series B: #2 Philadelphia Flyers vs. #7 Buffalo Sabres

Series C: #3 Boston Bruins vs. #6 Montreal Canadiens

Series D: #4 Pittsburgh Penguins vs. #5 Tampa Bay Lightning

Western Conference

Series E: #1 Vancouver Canucks vs. #8 Chicago Blackhawks

Series F: #2 San Jose Sharks vs. #7 Los Angeles Kings

Series G: #3 Detroit Red Wings vs. #6 Phoenix Coyotes

Series H: #4 Anaheim Ducks vs. #5 Nashville Predators

Here are the standings for the NBA Playoffs. These 16 teams will compete for the NBA Championship.  These standings are fresh from last night’s games:

Eastern Conference

#1 Chicago Bulls vs. #8 Indiana Pacers

#4 Orlando Magic vs. #5 Atlanta Hawks

#3 Boston Celtics vs. #6 New York Knicks

#2 Miami Heat vs. #7 Philadelphia 76ers

Western Conference

#1 San Antonio Spurs vs. #8 Memphis Grizzlies

#4 Oklahoma City Thunder vs. #5 Denver Nuggets

#3 Dallas Mavericks vs. #6 Portland Trail Blazers

#2 Los Angeles Lakers vs. #7 New Orleans Hornets
