The AFC is set. New England has home field advantage throughout, while the Chiefs claim the AFC West. Pittsburgh, Baltimore and New York (Jets) have clinched a playoff berth. The NFC has many teams in the playoff hunt with nothing set in stone. Here’s your scenarios for what’s about to happen. Some of these might be confusing, but they will be explained as clear as they can.

  1. If Atlanta wins, they clinch the NFC South and home field advantage. If they lose, then New Orleans has to win to clinch the South. Home field advantage would go to Chicago.
  2. If Green Bay wins, they are in. If they lose, then New York and Tampa Bay need to win their games. A tiebreaker will be determined if both teams win their games and if Green Bay loses.
  3. If Pittsburgh wins, they clinch the AFC North and a first round bye. If they lose, then Baltimore must win to clinch their division and the bye.
  4. If Indianapolis wins, they clinch the AFC South. If they lose, Jacksonville must win to take their division.
  5. The winner of Sunday night’s game between the Rams and Seahawks will determine who will win the NFC West.

Now here are my picks for the last week of the NFL season.
