Hey sports fans. Are you one of those fans NOT into football? It may seem impossible, but there are some of you out there that just aren’t interested in football. Here are some other sports in this weekend for you to watch:

Baseball: the playoff races are still on. The Twins have the best record, which means they’ll have home field advantage if the season ended today. They are a ½ game ahead of the Yankees and already clinched their AL Central Division. Speaking of the Yanks, they engage in their classic rivalry against the Red Sox. Boston could play spoiler and help the Twins take home field. Yet, their injuries are too many for even them to overcome. Will the Red Sox play spoiler or will the Yankees prevail once more? Tune in to a possible rubber match on ESPN, Sunday at 8PM EST. Plus, check your local listings for your favorite teams that are still in the hunt for October.

MMA: The UFC will have a stacked card tomorrow night at 10PM EST. No titles will be on the line. However, the main card features two marquee matchups. In the light-heavyweight division, Rogerio Nogueira will take on the undefeated Ryan Bader in the co-main event. The main event is a heavyweight showdown as former heavyweight champion Frank Mir against veteran Mirko Cro Cop. The card also features two friends in a welterweight showdown as Matt Serra takes on Chris Lytle.

COLLEGE Football: plenty of games will be on tomorrow. The game to look forward to is #1 Alabama taking on #10 Arkansas. Alabama has not lost an SEC game since 2007. Are they due to lose? We’ll see.

If I forgot about any sports or events for this weekend, let me know.  Until next time sports fans…

Yours Truly,

Sebastian Maldonado
