Now it’s time for the game that should be the best one on TV this week.

Game of the Week:

NBC has a game that features an age old rivalry between two future Hall of Famers. The Patriots battle the Colts once more. Peyton Manning vs. Tom Brady, you cannot say anything more about that. Two of the best quarterbacks right now will take on each other in an interesting situation. The Colts are undefeated, and the Patriots are used to being unbeaten. The roles have been switched in this rivalry, with the Colts gaining the upper hand in recent meetings (both in the regular season and the postseason). The Colts’ train will still be rolling after this one.

Prediction: Colts 35-24

We also have two very big fights from both boxing and mixed martial arts. Time for the magic man to take over!
Pure Magic:

The worlds of both sports feature two marquee matches, one on PPV and one on free TV.

UFC 105: Randy “the Natural” Couture vs. Brandon “the Truth” Vera (8PM EST on Spike TV)- this light-heavyweight fight in the United Kingdom features the crafty veteran against the up-and-comer. Both need to win this fight. Whoever loses will be out of the title hunt. Couture is winding down but is still a force to be reckoned with. Vera needs a big victory to become a strong contender. This fight truly exemplifies the saying “who wants it more.” Don’t be surprised if Vera can score the victory, but don’t ever count out Couture even at 46.

Prediction: Couture via unanimous decision

WBO Welterweight Title: Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto (9PM EST on HBO PPV)- Pacquiao’s speed vs. Cotto’s power. This bout features two of the best boxers in the business with so much to prove. Pacquiao wants to prove to the world he is the best fighter in the world, as does Cotto. They both have the pride of their home countries behind them (Puerto Rico in Cotto and Philippines in the Pacquiao). Losing would be a huge letdown for each fighter because of their record and momentum. Expect youth to take over for the experienced.

Prediction: Cotto in the 9th round via TKO.

Well, that’s all the time I have for today. If you disagree with anything I say, leave a comment below or email me at spidey23us@yahoo.com. You can also contact me via Facebook. Thanks for reading and good luck with your teams.

Yours Truly,

Sebastian Maldonado
