Happy 4th of July sports fans. Welcome back to today’s sports update; I’m your host Sebastian Maldonado for the hottest news in sports.

The NBA Draft is over, and the winners in my opinion won’t surprise you. The Bobcats got Sean May and Rashad McCants, two North Carolina boys.  The Knicks actually had a good draft day, for now with the selection of Arizona Wildcat Channing Frye.  Now for the losers: the Raptors picked Charlie Villanueva at #7, while the Nets picked Antoine Wright, a guard when the Nets need a BIG man.  Who do you think are the winners & losers of the draft?  While you’re at it, what will you remember most about this NBA season?

It’s official; the trade deadline is a mess.  NO TRADES have been made so far, but it’s pretty clear who won’t be traded. Gary Sheffield was angry about the rumors of him going to the Mets for Mike Cameron and Miguel Cairo.  He talked on “Mike & The Mad Dog,” New York’s WFAN 660 Radio Show, and said he refuses to be traded.  On top of that, Sheffield will appeal his suspension of his behavior toward a call during the last game of the Subway Series.  Plus, immature pitcher Steve Kline was suspended 4 games for arguing with the umpire.  Kenny Rogers was suspended as well for the camera incident that can be seen repeatedly on the news.  It’s unaware that both pitchers will or will not appeal their suspensions.

Well, that’s it for today; keep up the replies, see you later you KNUCKLEHEADS!!!

Yours Truly,

Sebastian Maldonado
