Welcome back to today’s sports update as it now returns on Friday baby!!  I’m everyone’s favorite host Sebastian Maldonado with the topics that just get under people’s skin as quick as the NFL Season.  It’s time to address the issues, & HERE WE GGGGOOOOOOO!!!

This NFL season has been a world full of ups and downs; from the fall of the Packers to the rise of the Bengals and Tampa Bay, this season has it all.  Eagles QB Donovan McNabb is risking it all playing with a “sports hernia” suffered on Monday’s loss versus the Falcons.  The injury will require surgery, but McNabb will play hurt.  McNabb said quote, “You’ll have to carry me off the field to take me out”!  The game of the week is the Chargers taking on the Patriots set in New England. Can San Diego pull off the upset or will they start the first 4 weeks 1-3???

It’s time for the main event (Drum-role please):

YANKEES at RED SOX! In the midst of the epic showdown are the two likely candidates for the AL MVP: Alex Rodriguez and David Ortiz. The Cleveland Indians are vying for a spot as well.  It’s sad because as a baseball fan, I feel that the best teams deserve to be in the October classic.  All 3 teams have become forces of nature, with nothing but themselves standing in their path of rage and destruction.  For the Yankees to advance, they need to win 2 out of 3.  For the Red Sox to advance, they need a sweep in “Beantown.”  In the end, this is the playoffs for both teams because it will be a sad yet satisfying case of TOTAL OUTRIGHT ELIMINATION!!!

On a lighter note, I would like to take the time to say happy birthday to subscribers Joshua Nyarko (October 2nd) and Ted Lopez (October 5th).  Reply back; I got a lot of replies last week, so keep it up.  See you next week you KNUCKLEHEADS!!!

Yours Truly,

Sebastian Maldonado

P.S. How did David Ortiz steal a base?  Someone tell me that one, PLEASE!
