Today’s Sports Update

Monday October 25, 2004

Welcome back sports fans; this is Sebastian Maldonado with today’s sports update.  For starters, let’s talk about the World Series.

Boston leads the series 2-0 after a riot due to the fact that they beat the Yankees. Sadly, a young woman died because of those riots.  Boston police did not expect this to happen.  Speaking of the Yankees, GM Brian Cashman will be spared of the wrath of the Boss and will be a part of his “Reconstruction” plan instead.  Who do YOU think will survive and who do YOU think will get the slip?  Who should stay and who should go?  Stay tuned.

In football: good week for NFL, BAD WEEK FOR ME!  I got six wrong, including my upset pick: JETS VS. PATS.  However, I’m proud of gang green because they only allowed 13 points, the fewest in fact for New England.  I also got the Giants, Raiders, Colts, Rams (that’s it I’m not picking them anymore), and Seattle wrong.  Well, there’s always next week.

In basketball, everyone outside the Lakers organization seems to have beef with Kobe Bryant.  The top 3 are SHAQ, Ray Allen, and Phil Jackson.  Can Kobe get his team into the playoffs?  Likely since the Pacific Division is the weakest of the West; how ironic!  I advise everyone that reads this message go to to see who you think is on top and who will fall. Who will surprise, and who is your pick for the NBA championship?  If you need help rosters will be on the same web site.  Just click on a team and you’ll see how good they are in your opinion.  Here’s my pick to win and ’nuff said:

Well that is it for Today’s Sports Update; please send me feedback. Good night everyone.
