Today’s Sports Update

Thursday October 7, 2004

What’s up, guys; this is Sebastian Maldonado with today’s sports update.  How about the MLB playoffs?  The Twins and Yankees are becoming true playoff classic.  From the showdown between Johan Santana and Mike Mussina to last night’s Yankee 12th inning comeback, this will be talked about and remembered for quite some time.  Who would have thought the Houston Astros being in the playoffs?  It goes to show you that there are still many surprises in the postseason.

In NFL news, there are still five teams that are undefeated.  The Eagles get a break, but the Jets, New England, and ATL (aka Falcons), will all have easy foes.  Yet, Miami takes on New England and the Jets take on Buffalo.  Miami and Buffalo are winless; upsets anyone?  Doubtful, but anything can happen.  Speaking of the Dolphins, Ricky Williams wants to make a comeback.  Is he serious, high, or playing the Dolphins again?  Who knows what will happen; until then Ricky, no more “getting high” days, alright?  It’s making me sick.  Plus, my game of the week is a rivalry reborn: Giants @ Dallas.  Place your bets, people, ’cause this is going to be one hell of a game.

Thanks for reading the update; I love the feedback people.  You’re the reason that the show is still strong.  Keep giving me feedback, and I’ll see you soon.

Sincerely,

Sebastian Maldonado
