Welcome back sports fans; this is Sebastian Maldonado with your sports update. How ’bout them Yankees? They started the Fenway tour with a bang. For those that believe in the Curse of the Bambino, here is the proof. 3 LCS (League Championship Series) were set by the Yankees. 3 Yankees hit at least 1 homer (A-Rod, Sheffield, and Matsui). Both starting pitchers (Kevin Brown and Bronsan Arroyo) did not make it past 3 innings. Last but not least, the Yankees averaged 3 runs per inning. How in the hell do you explain that? The Yankees beat Boston by a score of 19-8. Matsui ripped the Red Sox in half as he is dominating them, even their lefties. The Yankees may be Pedro’s daddy, but Matsui is definitely the Red Sox’s daddy.
In the NFL, Philly, New England, and the Jets stay undefeated. The Texans beat the Titans; can we now take the Texans seriously? Brett Farve’s woes are over as G.B. gave Detroit an old school beat-down. Michael Vick and the Falcons prove yet again why you don’t bet against them. What a comeback as the Falcons beat the Chargers by a score of 21-20! How about that?
In NBA, will the T-Mac & Yao project work? Will ABC hire Phil Jackson to cover the Lakers/Heat game at Christmas? With basketball opening October 30th, how will the Shaq & Wade project affect the game of basketball? Please send me your thoughts and opinions. I don’t care if you agree or disagree with me, but I want to hear the voices of the public. Until next time sports fans, good night.
