Last update, I asked you guys a question: does the curse of the Bambino truly exist? Well, remember this date, October 14, 2004; I, Sebastian Maldonado, believe in the curse. Everyone has a mission, but a big guy smoking cigars & wearing a crown has different plans.
Tonight proves that the curse does exist. Pedro (Who’s your daddy?) Martinez had 50+ pitches by the 3rd inning. Lieber reached 50+ at the end of 6. The Yankees did not beat the Red Sox tonight by three, but the Yankees got only 3 runs. With Schilling and Pedro losing at the house that Ruth built, the series moves to Fenway. The Sox are down two, but they’re not out yet (damn). Game 3 is Friday as Kevin Brown takes on Bronsan Arroyo on the Green Monster. Will the Yankees bring out the brooms or will the Red Sox win at least one? Only one way to find out; until then see you guys soon.
P.S. I would like to end this special with a quote from “The Best Damn Sports Show Period” by Tom Arnold. Quote, “Hey Red Sox, the Yankees aren’t Pedro’s daddy; Pedro is the Yankees’ BITCH!”
